From Our Pastor

These are troubled times we live in. I hope we here at Friendship will be able to supply any spirtual help you might need. You may not need a pastor just now, but one day you may. There may be a death in the family, and you will need someone to pray with you for comfort, or you may want to receive Christ as your own personal Savior. Whatever spiritual need you may have, we want to be here for you. We do care!

If you are looking for a church home, we hope you will visit us. We might be the answer to your prayer. If you are seeking Christ to be your Savior, we can help.

Romans 3:23 says that "all have sinned". We are a sinner by birth (Adam's fall) and now we are a sinner by choice. Romans 6:23 says that "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord". When sin is finished with us it brings death. Not only physical but spiritual death.

BUT GOD"S GIFT IS CHRIST and through Him we can have eternal life. When one receives Christ, spiritually speaking, that person passes from death to life.

Acts 3:19 tells us to repent. That means we have to change our mind about sin and self and ask God to forgive us of our sins. John 1:19 says, "As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name". If someone offered you a million dollars I know you would receive it and be thankful. God is offering you eternal life through His Son. He died for you. Will you receive Christ into your heart today?

Revelation 3:20, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me". The greatest friend you will ever have is Christ. He left Heaven and come to earth to give Himself a ransom for all. He stands knocking at your heart's door wanting to come in. Will you allow Him to come into your heart?

"We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company." (Psalms 55:14)
